Hello Everyone...again :)
Ok, so I'm not "new", but it's been almost 7-8 years since I've been here. I started posting because we bought our first GSD Stewart back in 2005,and I didn't have a clue! :) Sadly he developed epilepsy around the age of 2 and we tried medicating for 2 years but he was never the same and was still having the seizures daily even being completely "doped". Realizing this was no way for him to live, we made the hard decision to have him put down in 2009 and I've never been able to come back here. I could barely look at a GSD without crying - the whole experience left a deep scar.
BUT, I this last year I realized that I still love GSD's no matter what and knew it was time to try again. So just this past weekend we bought a puppy. His name is Rex....oh sorry, T-Rex (thank the 5 year old!!) Oh boy, he's a handful. :eek: I forgot how hard these first few days are. Anyway, just wanted to check back in and say Hello...again! :)
