Newbie to GSDS and very EXCITED

My husband has Spinal Stenosis plus cervical spine issues. We were offered a service dog. She was born in 2005. We think she is the ideal GSD for us, we have not met her yet.
Her age is a concern to me however I hear she is in GREAT HEALTH. I am just wondering what everyone's thoughts are?

Beautiful dog. If the service dog agency is recommending her then I'm sure she'll be great.
