Default Hello from Maryland

Hello, this is my first time on the forum. I am looking for a GSD in the Maryland area. There are many so called breeders in the surrounding aresa, but I ahve heard that many of them are mills and to stay away. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good breeders in the MD area. One that will also not completely break the bank. Thanks

Welcome to the forum and your search for a great puppy.

Hopefully you've been really going thru the ---> Welcome to the GSD/FAQ's for the first time owner - German Shepherd Dog Forums and more specifically the ---> How to find a puppy!

There are so many poor breeders (never go to a pet store!) out there grinding out pups that end up with poor temperments and bad health. Since it's a 12+ commitment best to do it with a wonderful breeder on our sides.

Hello and Welcome!
You will get a wealth of information on this site. I might suggest that if you are looking for breeders in your area, you should post in the "Choosing a Breeder" section so that you get the responses that you need.
Also I would list your location on your user CP so that people can see where you're located.
Good luck in your puppy search!

That's a good idea. Just go up to the narrow black stripe along the top of the page, click the User CP, and then put your general location (don't need anyone knocking on your front door) but it will show up to the left of each future post like my Poconos stuff shows...
