Hello from Connecticut

Hi to all of you. I am a new owner of a beautiful rescue German shepherd named Angel. She is just under 2 years old.
I've had her for about a week now. When I got her she was the shyest dog I had ever met. Now she is a bit better but still quite shy and scared of many things. She was also 10-15 lbs underweight.
It is my understanding that she was kept crates for many hours on end. I would imagine that this is a big contributor to her shyness.
She comes with me everywhere now in order to socialize her. She comes to work, the firehouse, friends houses, the park, everywhere.
It seems to be working with the exception that she is becoming a bit aggressive I'm certain places.
Anyways ill stop rambling and get to looking around on here a bit.

I'm from Stamford. And am lucky enough to own a business where Angel can come with me pretty much everywhere

I'm the next town over... welcome to the board. I go up to cove beach a lot in the summer. My sister lives downtown right by bedford street over there.

Hi from another Ct person. My dh used to work in the Gov't Ctr in Stamford. I am a bit north of you in New Milford.....
