Aw, don't let people on Facebook get you down. She's beautiful -- and absolutely looks purebred. FWIW, there are many silly people out there who think GSDs are only GSDs if they are black-and-tan or sable. You know better. Thanks for rescuing this lovely girl. She's very lucky to have a good home, and I'll bet she is grateful.

Arycrest that pic is with a rooster that crows. She pounced on it as soon as we brought her in the house and she just loves making it crow. I can't wait to dig out the other animal noises toys.

Magwart, thank you. Yeah, the person on Facebook was being really weird. I have a big following over there and they were head over heels for Cassie, the GSD I just lost. Now they are falling in love with Zoey. They want her to have her own FB page. So I can write off the flake.

I know that many people haven't heard of white GSD. We had heard of them but had never seen one before. So far I haven't been able to get photos that do her justice. I need to get my husband to hold her on the leash in the sun, well, whenever the sun decides to come back again.

I just can't believe how she can be so good, so quickly. I know she will really show us her personality across the next few months but she is already amazing us, and so willing. As soon as she gets her bearings around the house we'll rescue a brother for her.

There are several WGSD clubs with a lot of nice people who are willing to give advice, etc.
White German Shepherd Dog Club of America, Inc. || Welcome = White German Shepherd Dog Club of America
White German Shepherd Dog Club International, Inc - Home = White German Shepherd Dog Club International
*American White Shepherd Association = American White Shepherd Association
WSCC White Shepherd Club of Canada = White Shepherd Club of Canada

I only know of one FB page dedicated to the WGSD, but am sure there are others.

Thank you, Arycrest! I will check out the various groups/links. I love being able to be an advocate for a breed.

Awww.... what a pretty girl she is. She sure looks like a purebred GSD to me. Thank you for rescuing another GSD in need. She will help brighten your and your husband's lives after your devastating loss of Cassie.

Nice to see you again, Karin! Perhaps we'll finally meet at a local event. Unlike Cassie, Zoey loves other dogs.

Losing Cassie was indeed devastating. Getting to know Zoey is helping a lot.
