I just got my new GSD pup about a week ago... His mother stopped nursing him and his brothers and sisters. His litter was born on October 30, which if I do the math correctly, makes him about 7 weeks old... I know he's still very young and needs extra attention.. I was told by the owner that he had been giving the litter puppy chow watered down and so have I since I got him. I'm new at this and any advice would be greatly appreciated..
Only big question I have is when is it ok to switch him to dry puppy chow? His litter is akc registered and I am working to get paperwork to register him individually. He is purebred and I want to be the best owner I can... Thanks |

Hello and Welcome, any pics to share with us? We love pics on here, and there is lots of great information on here to help you out or to answer any questions.
As for the puppy chow, at seven weeks he probably can already eat dry. Just make sure to keep out lots of fresh water for him. Good luck with your new baby.
