Looking for my GSD

Hello all,
I stumbled across this forum while finding more information on breeders and rescue organizations. I do not currently own but have always loved the GSD breed.
I live in the Raleigh, NC area and would love to hear some feedback on rescues and breeders in the area. I am leaning towards a rescue but, I don't think I could resist that 'new puppy smell'!!

Welcome, just joined here myself. I don't have a GSD, we just bought a Belgian Malinois and these fine people were kind enough to welcome me here.

Southeast German Shepherd Rescue! (maybe "Southeastern"). Near you, I think and from the site appear to be good folks. Welcome!
