Default Greetings from Vancouver,Canada

Hey everyone!

I've been lurking on this forum ever since I got my puppy and thought today would be the day I actually post!

Meet Alfie the puppy.
He's about 2 months old in this picture.

We adopted him from the local animal shelter (SPCA) in August. This is my first dog ever. Our family has owned dogs before but when I was young and not responsible! He's about 6 months old now.

Here's an updated picture:

He lives in a house with our two cats, one who is terrified of him, the other who is incredibly curious.

He's such a loving and excited puppy. Love him to bits.

And just for the fun of it, here are more pictures of when he was tiny.

Oh and I was hoping someone could tell me what they think he could be mixed with? I've heard many different suggestions (mixed with husky, belgian shepherd,rottweiler....)

Thanks! Have a great day everyone!

Hello, Alfie is a cute pup, as for what he mixed with I dont see Husky or Rott. If I had to take a wild guess, maybe some mastiff?? IDK

Welcome...Alfie is the perfect name for that face

I can see where Nigel gets the mastiff in the last pc, but the recent one, I see collie (?), border maybe(?)..

If so, be very careful w/meds and heartworm prevention (ivermectin) re: MDR-1 - google it
