Hello from a Golden Oldie !!

Yes Guys .. A genuine 76 year old GSD afficianado who has been associated with German Shepherds (and their dogs!) since birth ... breeding, exhibiting, working trials (not schutzhund!). My Mother was the same, and my son has carried on the tradition, although only a pet owner.

Thank you for giving me a key to these hallowed halls.

I hope I can contribute to the forum, as I have hundreds of 'Pics from the past' and pedigrees of UK dogs over the years from 1930 to about 1980.

I have started to slowly add them to the GSD page on my web site, which you can access by clicking the link in my 'Signature Block' below.

Please feel free to copy any pictures that you would like to have.

Welcome. I enjoyed the pictures on the home page of your site and particularly enjoyed the discussion of the very recent wolf heritage of the GSD. One note: the picture labeled Spencer Tracey looks more like Clark Gable to me.
