Hello! I've been lurking here for a few weeks waiting to pick up my new pup, Thor. Great info here!
Thor's a 6 week old GSD. Yes I know that's young, but there's a reason I have him so soon. Anyway, he's my third GSD since I was a kid (long time ago). My last I had to rehome when my family and I moved out of country for two years. Thor has a big brother here... well, more like a grandpa, really. Briley is a 12 year old Yellow Lab who seems to have taken to the little guy - even took a nap next to him in the middle of the living room. Potty training has been going well, actually! No accidents so far (knock on wooden head) - I take him out to his spot and say "go potty" and he does his thing. He's a talker/groaner and seems to love his new family. He seems very comfortable with us, loving to everyone and snoozing a lot of course. Well, hopefully the pic I upload comes through. It was taken by my 16 year old budding photographer son.

Nawwww, that's adorable! What a sweet little boy and great photo! It really is touch-wood, isn't it? That happened to me one day when I said to some friends that my boy has never thrown up before and then the next evening, vomit all over the carpet! O.o The last time I say something like THAT.
Hope you enjoy your little Thor!
