Hello from Pacific Northwest, 11 month old GSD

Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself and say "hello". I am new to GSD's having, though I had a half GSD in my early teen years. I am now the proud owner of "Ajax", an 11 month old Sable, male. He is primarily a companion dog, though I do spend quite a lot of time training him. He usually comes with me to my office 1-2x per week.

I have lots of questions and look forward to reading all the excellent info here on the forums.

Hello,

Thanks for the compliments -- Ajax is quite handsome and a real charmer. He is a major hero at the office -- everyone loves him! I got Ajax from kraftwerkk9, in Rochester, WA.

I live in Portland, OR; however in the next 2-4 years my wife and I plan to move some place more rural in the PNW...not sure where just yet, but hopefully a bit drier/sunnier than Portland!

Welcome to you!

The east side of OR near Hermiston/Pendleton is known as the dry side. I lived in Umatilla (near Hermiston) for almost 6 years before our employer moved us back to BFE AKA Oklahoma.

Loved the dry side and the Tri-Cities, WA area is nice too and a quick drive from Hermiston.

Ajax is very handsome!
