New to the Forums

This is my GSD Newton. We have had him for almost 2 years. We got him from a local animal shelter. We figure he is around 3 or 4. The shelter said he was 2 but we figured him for a bit younger than that. The first picture is of him on his way home in the car after we got him and the others are from today. He has his black Kong ball in his mouth in one, it is his woobie

He is fairly well behavied but we are still working on a consistant recall... especially when he is chasing after some deer

and greeting other dogs. He tends to be a bit "doggie" and really really enjoys other dogs but tends to get a little too excited. We are currently working on teaching him to "speak" but since he never seems to bark and even with encouragement he still won't... its a work in progress
