Hi,
I got my puppy at 11 weeks old on 11/21/12. I ordered my large crate from amazon a couple of weeks in advance but it has not arrived yet. I am currently housebreaking Crixus but in order to do that i have borrowed a small crate from a friend. This one is just big enough for his body to lay down but not tall or wide enough for him to stretch out and be comfortable. Should i continue to put him in there or wait? Thanks. |

Make sure you check with amazon, usually I get all my stuff delivered very quickly from them.
That said, the crate needs to only be big enough for them to stand in, turn around, and lay in. Since my girls tend to curl in the back they don't take too much room. Most of us have at least 2 (or more) crates as our dogs grow. Helps to have friends with dogs so you can borrow and loan for shorter times as our pups grow ![]()
