First Time Owner!
 

Just got my first GSD last week. He is now 2 months old. Ace is in obedience classes and is doing great so far! He is a very avid biter, but we are correcting it with positive reinforcement training. Hi and welcome; he's a cutie. German shepherd puppies are land sharks. Sounds like like your dealing with it though. There are many knowledgeable people here and great articles. Glad to have you aboard.

He sure is a cutie. I have to say my pup who is now a year went through a terrible landshark phase that lasted until he was about 8-9 months old...yikes!
There are a lot of different things you can try, just type in Landshark or Biting in the search field and it will bring out a bunch of threads with tips on how to survive it.

When should his ears come up? He's 2 months old today and it looks like the right one is trying to pop up a little bit.

Like the Landshark/Biting threads there is a whole other thread just dedicated to Ears. Take a look through some of those threads to give you an idea on timeframe. He's still pretty young so they have plenty of time to get those ears up :)
