Greetings from the North

Hello everyone!! My name is Hannah and we have a 3 yr old GSD named Blitz. We got him when we lived in southern Louisiana and have just moved up to North Dakota and it is already snowing! I had a husky growing up and I will admit that having Blitz is definitely new. My hubby thinks he can stay outside all the time but I have a different opinion since he won't use the dog house we got for outside. I really feel like he is a part of the family and should be treated as such where I think my Husband thinks of him more as a working dog and protector. We got Blitz as a pup and he is very sweet and gentle but has shown his protective side around some people. I am hoping that through this forum that I may be able to learn something about having a GSD that you just don't learn from texts.

Hello and Welcome Hannah, got any pictures to your boy Blitz to share with us? We love pics on here. Shepherds like to be inside with their people, although there are some members whose dogs are outside.

We had one female gsd that preferred being outdoors although she had free access to the garage, laundry room and kitchen. Stosh on the other hand wants to be near us.
