Well after many years of wanting, I was finally able to get a GSD, so I figure the best thing would be to join a forum like this to try and collect as much knowledge and info I can possibly take in to make sure I do right by the dog, We pick him up next Tuesday after we get back from vacation and we are very excited. We have two mini Aussies and I think they will all get along great, Only delima now is what to name him, I like Jax,Sig or Barrett, my son and wife like Brutus, something tells me I'll be calling him Brutus LOL.
I have visited this site a few times for some info and figure it was time to finally pull the trigger, great site you have here, my name is Chris and I look forward to posting pics and learning tons of great things here. We got the one in back ![]() 8wks old

Hello and Welcome Chris, there is tons of valuable information here, just about anything that you would want to know. We will be anxiously waiting for more pics of that little guy when you get him home.

So we picked him up on Saturday, got him home,at first it was a little tough, but he got settled in pretty quick, we put a collar and leash on him which he didn't like, but it only took about 2mins for him to get use to it and he walked great on it. His first night with us was also his first time in a crate, it was a little tough but the 2nd night he didn't make a sound, I was the one that had to wake him up to take him out to use the bathroom. So everybody meet "Buddy"
Here he was after we played with a ball in the back yard for a while.. Here Buddy is on his fav. place to lay.
