Thank you for the nice welcome I received.
I am a K9 handler/trainer for a large sheriff's department in California. Although my current working dog is NOT a GSD, my family has included at least one shepherd for the last 25 years. My current GSD is a two-year-old female named Heidi that we adopted from a local German Shepherd rescue group. She is by far and away the longest and tallest shepherd I've owned. We got Heidi in Feb 2012 and I'm just starting to work with her to see if I can get her to pass our certification course. It's possible that by the end of this year, Heidi will be working with my and my other K9 partner. Again, thank you for the nice reception and I will be regular visitor to this forum. Ron |

Its been almost 10 months since I posted any Heidi pictures.
She was exploring today and found two different rocks she decided to sit (read POSE) on, so I snapped these shots. ![]()

Great shots! She is a beauty! Hope you continue to post here, the forum certainly benefits from your experience with the breed and with training working dogs!
Welcome and I look forward to more pics and updates on your girl!!! |
