Smile Hello From Kansas

Hello All,
I am a proud new owner of a German Shepherd pup, Leto. He is right around 9 weeks old now, born December 14th, 2011. I got him from a great breeder, Kerstone Shepherds in Abilene, KS. I have owned Standard and Miniature Poodles, so I am accustomed to the intelligence, and he is smart. Very. He is a black/tan Shepherd, that I do not intend on breeding, he is going to be a buddy, a companion. He is going with me on walks, camping and fishing trips, family functions, and will be my 100 pound lap dog when he is grown.
More info and questions to come. I can't wait to glean all the info I can from you all.

Thanks,

LVS

Thanks all!

Here are pictures of Leto, both a few days after the thread started, and a few days ago. Just a happy go lucky little(80 or so lbs) kid. Turned 1 year old about 10 days ago, and was potty trained by the end of the 2nd week he was in the house.

Blacksuit: Alicia from Kerstone is great. Knows what she is doing, truly cares about the breed, and has a great setup with a lot of room.

dazedtrucker: Hi! I head to Topeka every year for the NHRA show at HPT!
