Hello everyone. I've been lurking for awhile. Today I finally decided to introduce myself to everybody since my wife and I just sent our deposit to the breeder to reserve ourselves a male working line puppy. We have two children, 9 and 4. My wife is a fulltime stay-at-home mom. This will be our third Shepherd. We've been dog free since last September and we think now that we're ready to tackle the challenges of another Shepherd. We just really miss having a dog around.
I just want to say that I've really enjoyed reading all of the posts here. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. I look forward to learning more from all of you. The waiting game is going to kill all of us. |

We live in southern Wisconsin. We debated long and hard about which breeder to choose and finally chose a breeder who is half an hour from us. We visited the breeder last week and met with the dam and sire. Both dogs look great with lots of drive and very friendly. We did lots of research and feel very comfortable in our decision. I'm sure you guys have heard of Melinda Clark from Vom Gildaf. She seems great. We're getting a male pup from the Buzz-Natasha pairing. We're all trying to come up with names now. My four year old daughter likes Murphy so we might go with that. |

Welcome to the forum! I've heard good things about Vom Gildaf.
Um. . . . what's up with your screen name?

I'm going to inundate this site with photos if that's what you guys want. I got a dslr this past Christmas and I love it. I've been taking photos of everything (even the cats.) As far as my screen name, it refers to an incident in college years ago. Ewww is right. Don't ask.
It's also my gamertag for Xbox live if you guys know anything about that or has kids. I'm too unimaginative to come up another screen name so Green Discharge is what I use for just about everything to be honest. Yes, I game, much to the chagrin of my wife who says she has three kids. I agree with her. The Call of Duty series is my guilty pleasure. Well thanks for the warm welcome. In the words of Tom Petty, "The waiting... is the hardest paaaaaart."
