Smile Excited! Getting my German Shephed puppy soon!

Hello everyone!

In addition to this site, I'm new to the world of dog ownership.

I'll be getting my female German shepherd puppy from a very reliable breeder sometime between August - December. Good, healthy bloodline with amazing hips, straight back and elbows!

Although I've dealt and interacted with a lot of dogs, this will be the first I own. I admit and understand I lack the experience of actually owning/caring for a dog. Which why it's important to me to research about dog psychology/behavior, dog training, nutrients, health and expenses. I'm trying my best to be prepared to make my dog healthy and happy.

So far, I have $3500 saved up for dog funds and hopefully that will take care of the first year of ownership?

It's very encouraging to find communities like this dedicated to responsible dog ownership! I've been learning so much! I'll be looking forward to learning more and interacting with everyone about their experiences!

and yes, we will be naming our female puppy Misster Dog. :P

If you don't mind me asking, where are you getting your pup from? You can send me a pm if you want.

Yay another person in NC!

and sure! I'm getting my pup from a breeder in Clark Rd. Bath, North Carolina, roughly 2 hours away from the Raleigh area.
