Hello from CT! Getting my own GSD soon!

Hello all, my name is Andrea and I've been reading this forum since 2010 when my family and I adopted a two year old GSD from the south. He's been a great friend and helped me cope with an illness; the power of these dogs is incredible.

GSD's have been in my family all my life; I grew up with a GSD who was *the* example of the breed. I have wanted my a GSD that would be "my" dog (my responsibility to train, take care of, etc) for quite some time. After a few months of looking I found a 3 month old female (hopefully PB but we'll love her regardless) to adopt and she will be coming home this Friday!

My household consists of the two year old I mentioned as well as a 14 year old GS/Husky mix. Great dogs, and I hope the new pup will fit right in. She seemed VERY mellow when I visited her at her foster mom's. I hope she seems more interested in me and my family once she comes to her permanent home.
