Hello from IRIS

Hello from Iris,

14 month old GSD female, rescued by B.A.R.K. and adopted by myself & spouse.

Lost our Shepherd mix 2 years ago to liver cancer. Now it's time for more puppy love!

Iris is currently on medication as we try to get her gastrointestinal system straightened out. She's underweight by about 8 lbs.

She still has a lot of puppy in her. She will live full time in house with us (I'm retired) but gets lots of walks on the leash. She's very well behaved. We've had her for 5 days and we've bonded.

Hoping her digestion gets back to normal. Meds have helped but we're still fighting soft stool. Back to the vet tomorrow if we don't see improvement.

Looking forward to what we can learn off of this forum. We're not new to dogs but open to learning more about GSD's.

Welcome to the forum. You're awesome for rescuing Iris. And I think its cool that you're willing to invest the money and time to care for her health problems. She is beautiful.
