Milltewest is in Illinois and has some nice dogs. Just saw one of their 4 month old pups out here in Texas tonight. He was gorgeous and Mitlewest owner Julie is very nice.

I highly recommend vom Gildaf German Shepherds in Wisconsin. I have known her since 2008 and have only good things to say about her. I purchased two dogs from her - a puppy she bred and a female she imported from Germany.
 She is a great breeder, very friendly and helpful. She cares so much about the puppies she breeds. You should definitely check her website out.

Bill Kulla is the breeder of my pup, Hunter... I will never go to another breeder as long as they are around. I am amazed by their dogs, and my Hunter is perfect for me. <3

I will never get another dog from any other breeder other than Huerta Hof, in Freeport, IL.
I prefer their dogs because of the temperament that they breed. My last three dogs were Huerta Hof dogs. You will not be disappointed with a dog from them...Robin is on this forum, you should contact her. I believe she may have some females available right now...don't think they are babies, but older puppies. She also has some INCREDIBLE puppy/puppies left from the Pascha x Karma litter, but I think they might be males...amazing temperament! Good luck! |

I appreciate the input and will keep checking the recomended breeders as litters become available. Thanks. Meanwhile I am checking on some pups from Seltzerhaus breeder in central illinois. Does anyone have any input, good or bad, on seltzerhaus?

Well I went and looked up the website. and went to the "for sale" page Blank I looked at the parents of the litter sold all the way at the bottom. I noticed that the Dam and Sire have no HD rating listed...I find that a little odd, and unless I am corrected, I don't see where they do OFA. I couldn't tell you about the pedigrees themselves, or the kennel. I have never heard of them before today. But IMO you have been given a very good list of reputable breeders in your vicinity..I would really check them out!
