Default Hello from SC/GA

Hi, I'm Robert. I am new to the GSD, but not dogs period. I am here to learn. I have always envied the GSD, but never owned one. I picked up my first pup xmas eve, and was trying to learn a little about his lineage. Here is my 1st post

Can anyone tell me if my blood is decent?

All help and opinions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Smile Welcome

I can't help on the lines, but did you use Von der Sauk kennels in South Carolina? IF so, they are great and where I got one of my girls. I will get all my GSDs in the future there as well. They provide training as well, so if you look them up they might be a good resource in the future. Welcome!

Not enough info there to know anytihng about the dog, but I am also in SC (upstate) - got my most recent dog from a friend in West VA though. Czech and West German Working - but doing detection work not bitework or protection.

Though My female is a Crok grandaughter but that is one dog

Wlcome! I posted in your other thread. I'll be interested to see your puppy's sire's lineage.

Thanks for all of the hellos and pointers. I will look into some of the kennels above. Reno was actually purchased from TIR NA NOG Kennel & Working Dog Club of SC. I was initially interested in the ScH, but lately I'm leaning towards having good or great protection dogs.
