Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. Grew up on a farm and my family has bred, raised and shown horses for 50 years. I event and showjump primarily. We always had dogs mostly mutts who wandered in/were dropped off. Couple English Springers and Pointers that my dad and grandpa hunted with.

Always loved German Shepherds but just never was able to own one. I'm currently in grad school so a dog won't be in the cards for several more years. I'm looking forward to researching and learning more about the breed in the meantime (the horse breeder coming out in me).

Hope you don't mind a currently-GSD-less member. This forum has been very informative so far. Thank you for that!

I'm enjoying browsing around and reading the threads.

It's the horse breeder in me to want to research and acquire as much information as possible I guess

Welcome!! There is so much information here, I'm having a lot of fun going through everything... I'm sure you will too... I'm swamped in the Puppy boards, and really enjoy reading on Puppy Behavior... I'm sure you'll find everything you need here!!
