Incoming!
Hi, I'm Michele, and my mate and I are expecting to bring home our new GSD pup after the first of the year (litter was born Nov 5th). We are so very excited about this as we've always rescued older dogs, and this is our first "purebred" (have had dogs that were almost certainly pure before, but rescued). Our hope is that Kronos will become The Mate's service dog, and maybe play around a little bit in some kind of showing with me.
We have one other dog right now, our Beagle mix Krissie (she was thought to be a GSD mix as a pup - haha joke's on us), who is about 2 years old. I haven't had a GSD since I was a little kid, which doesn't really count, but we've recently dealt with Huskies quite a bit, so we're somewhat prepared for an active, fairly independent dog. I've also been devouring as many books as I can about GSDs, and will be able to ask our breeder if we need help or advice. We'll be feeding raw, as we've had such good results with all our other dogs.
We've both dreamed of having a GSD for a looong time, and it's finally going to happen!
