Hello from ohio

hello everyone. i just recently joined this site to help get better knowledge of my german shepherd. shes a 12 month old rescue i got back in june, she was severly skinny, neglected/beaten, and had been living under a broken down van. she was in bad shape and needed out of there badly. i took her in and she did not move for 2 days but now she is an amzing dog and so happy. shes in training right now to help with working on social skills and getting to know people are alright. shes very protective of me and my family. but she still is very skiddish. i hope to learn alot about helping her cope with her social skills and more advanced training. This is my baby girl Shyla
