Default Hello White GS

Hello Diego (24) here in Oklahoma city, first dog that im raising by my self, had 4 dogs when used to live with my mother.

I should of named him Dumbo if i knew hes ears were going to get this huge... lol

I have a white GS hes name is Stewie got him back in October 12 in a small town (had to drive an hour away) hes about 16 weeks if im not mistaken you veteran people can probably tell in the pics, anyways i got him for free the guy that had him didn't want him/didn't care for him at all,dog has fleas, dirty etc etc, He has all the shots now no fleas hes doing excellent hes very energetic and likes to bite a lot he doesn't like being cute not sure how to stop all the biting, every time you try to pet him he tries to bite like he wants to play, only time i can pet him is when his tired.

Im a lil concern about hes weight last visit to the best was last week for his final shots, he weights 14.3bs Im not sure if that's normal for a WGS but to me it seems a lil skinny, the Vet said it was normal and that he will grow and get plum soon.

He eats 2 meals a day (Blue Buffalo Brown rice with chicken) its expensive food but he loves it. Should i give him more? or give him canned food? or just dry food?

Thanks!!

Hello and Welcome, to you and Stewie. Puppies can be fed 3 times a day if possible, and I mix a little wet food in with mine but it is not necessary to do so.

When he starts mouthing on you tell him NO BITE and stick one of his favorite toys in his mouth. He is just playing and not being aggressive but I think it is a good idea for them to not put their mouth on you.

Congrat's on the new puppy, enjoy.

nice looking dog!

Mine use to do the same thing! what really worked was everytime his teeth touch me, i yelped, and walked out the room / went to the bathroom. only for like a minute will get the point across that his touching you ends play time.

Oh and when i come back out, i would just walk around for a bit then play again and make sure myself that his teeth doesnt touch me for a bit and then when they do, i go away again!

hope that helps

YAY, more whites!! He looked closer to maybe 11 or 12 weeks...Sheldon was 15 weeks when we got him, and he didn't look as puppy as your boy. He's still adorable <3
