Hello everyone,
I'm first-time poster, long-time GSD owner. My beloved girl died early on Thanksgiving morning after a battle with hemangiosarcoma. I spent some time today trying to find out information about breeders (I know more than enough about hemangiosarcoma at this point) and found this site. I hope to add a puppy to the house soon. I've had GSDs since I was four. I want to share my life with another. |

I read in another post that your beloved Kali was 8 years, 9 months when she passed. That is weird. That is the exact same age as my princess when I lost her to hemangio. Please accept my deepest sympathies, especially being that she died on Thanksgiving day. But it always does my heart so much good to read about somebody who was able to fight off the hemangio and spend some extra time with their baby.
It is so hard in the grief to search for another fur baby. My boy came to me very quickly after my other GSD died, but I have no regrets, as my heart and my life were so shattered from the loss that I needed another puppy right away, and he did so much to ease the grief journey. My best wishes that whoever you find and bring to your home will help to ease the sorrow of Kali's loss. |
