Hello from Houston!

Hello!

I am currently awaiting a Foster dog to be placed with me(already approved). I currently own a Doberman who is being trained in Schutzhund, and am an active member in a Schutzhund club. I am working towards becoming a Schutzhund trial Helper. I plan to foster over the next year or two until I have accomplished what I want with my Doberman, then I will be ready for my next sport dog who will more than likely be a GSD. That and the Foster is what bring me here to gain more knowledge and information.

Jizzam- Dog Training Houston by Longoriahaus Dog Training | How To Train A Dog Al Longoria is an amazing dog trainer who uses positive methods and operant conditioning. He offers a free 2 hour evaluation of your dog, which gives you a chance to meet him and learn how his training system will work for you. He will also asses your dogs potential for whatever goals you may have for them, and honestly tell you how realistic they are. He is also the lead trainer at the Schutzhund club I am a member of.

Emoore-I am working with Second Chance German Sheperd Rescue.I still havent had a dog placed with me, but have been approved and home visit ect.. completed. I'm sure its just due to the holidays things are moving a bit slow.

Yes, most rescues close intake during the holidays because with foster homes travelling they're really tight for space.

I've heard of Second Chance but I'm not familiar with them.
