Just registered and thought I would say hello

I am so excited to have found this forum! My husband and I have a deposit on a GSD puppy who should make his arrival into the world in mid October and be ready to come home mid December!!! We are so excited!
It has been about 20 years since I have had a dog to train and I am really looking forward to it. I have a lot to re-learn and training philosophies have really changed

I am currently reading The Art of Raising A Puppy and really enjoying it.

Congratulations on your soon to be puppy.
My puppy, "Kaya" will be picked up at the airport tomorrow. She is 8 weeks old. Good luck to us both!!!
