Smokey is beautiful! The first dog I picked out when I was 18 was also a GSD/Husky mix. I was 18 at the time. My father told me no more dogs, but I brought her home one day. After 2 weeks she bonded just as much to my Dad and they became the best of friends. She lived 15 years and was very healthy and well tempered. When I had to pts her, was the first time I saw my father cry. Ironically my friend at the time also got a gsd/husky mixed and his name was Smokey too.
Good luck with him as well as your search for you first GSD. You are a good owner to take such good care of your dog. Cheryl

Thank you I love him to! I had no idea about anything when I l picked him out when I was little just that he was cute and his tag in the Humane society said I have a hurt paw but I will love you forever and said he was a German Shep, and I knew my dad wanted a big dog, but he is not that bing 53 lbs. I couldn't have picked a better dog though! I just love how crazy smart he is.

I love my dog Smokey! I know he's not a purebred, but he is the greatest. I will be getting a purebred in 2012. I also love my 4 precious guinea pigs! |
