Hi,
I'm new I'm in Fairbanks,Alaska been lurking a few days,I reserved a male puppy from a litter due at the end of September and figured I'd join people who knew things about German Shepherds.I've never owned a purebred GSD but my bf and I do have a german shepherd husky mix.I'm curious to see how my pups going to like potty training in the cold weather :P |

GSD's LOVE cold weather and snow! So long as it is not -20, owners on the other hand are a different story, hehe. All my pups were raised in winter, that is when my hubby is off work and can be home for potty training. etc.
Welcome to the group post some pics when you get your pup. I think I am having puppy withdrawl, lol! |

haha i will!! It will be at the end of november because I'm going out of town in the middle of november and didnt want to board a brand new puppy...i think it should be -10 in november its colder in jan/feb usually -40's...i just bundle up for walks lol doesnt even phase sheeba our gsd/husky mix though
