Hello from Oceanside, CA

Hi everybody,
My name is John, I just got a male GSD when he is 10 wks old. His name is Ozzy, my son names it because he likes the character in "The Land Before Time". Ozzy is very active, and complete the house training so now he know where to go to do his stuff (pee and poof..).
Just wonder at what month GSD will begin to bark when a stranger at the door or something. Is it at 4mon or 6 mon? Will post his pix next time.

Welcome! Dogs start barking at different ages. Timid dogs take longer than others, there really is no general answer. You'll have to wait a little before he barks at strangers, for now everyone is a chew toy.
