Hello,
I'v I joined here some months ago, but never posted (I don't think?) and lately I've been lurking and reading enough that I thought I should introduce myself. I have been involved with GSDs since 1992. I titled my first GSD, an Am-bred boy, Thorn, to a SchH3 and CDX, and even took him to the North Americans. Great dog! Since then, I have had German working lines. Won the 2000 Sch1 HOT Championship with my home-bred dog Ashen, then the 2001 SchH3 HOT Championship with him. Around 2003, I burned out on dog sports and took a break from competitive training. I am getting back into it now, looking at doing more agility and herding, and probably still some schutzhund. I breed GSDs under the kennel name Blackthorn--a lot of my puppies have gone on to work in SAR, others are competitive in agility, herding, or schutzhund. I think the SAR pups are the ones that make me proudest.

Hey Kelly,
I just realized that I've browsed around your website looking at your dogs when I was trying to decide whether to buy a DDR female from Germany. I ended up doing so! ![]() I recently imported a pregnant DDR female, V Xita v Ludwigseck, KK1a, Sch1--she had puppies out of V Laruh v Grafental, KK1a, SchH3 born July 4. Laruh's mom is a littermate of Puck, who I noticed is behind several of your dogs. Here's Xita with her newborn puppies:
