In a way i almost feel kind of bad, I'm getting a great deal and coming out huge at her misfortune... however, they are good people with good dogs, so I plan on staying in contact with them and working with them as much as i can. We are going down this weekend to get the pup started in schutzhund training this weekend (at a cool 8 weeks old - but start them young right?), Im also taking my boxer to see what we can do with him as well... I'd like to get him trained in the obedience side of the sport as i eventually want him a trained therapy dog.

Hello! I'm from the Green Bay area. I'm on my way to posting an introduction, but keep seeing these great posts. We have a 9-month-old golden retriever that happened very much as a matter of fate, and we adore her. But we also have that GSD "itch", since our first dog as a married couple was an adopted GSD.
