Well, I joined over a year ago but didn't really hang around much. In May, Harry the Malinois died suddenly and unexpectedly after an acute attack of laryngeal paralysis. He left a giant hole in our hearts and our family.
I found a planned GSD litter that I am really impressed with, and it looks like I'm going to go ahead and put a deposit down for a puppy. I don't know my GSD bloodlines well, but I am guessing that it's mostly West German working lines. Health tested and titled parents. The puppy will have some large shoes to fill.

Sorry for your loss of Harry. He was a handsome boy.
Are you looking for any breeder suggestions? Or do you have some in mind? If you can handle a Mal you can handle a GSD easy. Both breeds are very smart and lots of fun to work with.

I have chosen our breeder. The sire is a German working line SchH3 dog. The dam is a versitile dog that is titled in obedience, dock dogs, and weight pulling, plus she is working in Schutzhund (has BH and AD). She's also registered with TDI. Dogs are health tested, of course. I think we've found a winner!
