Howdy from West Texas

Just wanted to say howdy. We just got a 8 week old puppy that is part GSD last week. He is nothing but energy when awake and sleeps the rest of the day. Named him Gus after Agustus McCrae. I'm patiently waiting for him to get to where he sleeps through the night and is house trained. Our ten year old Basset doesn't go that much

. Anyway, thanks for the great forum.
