Default Lazy GSD?

Hi All,

My GSD (5 1/2 yrs old) three months ago got castrated and he developed a new problem going on strike during a walk.We would walk a few steps anwhere from 10 steps to 300 steps and he would just sit down and look at you with a kind of look saying the **** with this?Is this normal with a GSD when I had Siberian Huskies I never saw this problem.

he is not limping
on a reduced diet
likes to play
If I was to skip a day of walking he will do more the next day.
no physical problems from what I can see?

I was planning to give him treats along the walk to make him move his butt.

Any answers to my question would be appreciated.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

Confused

First thought is get a second opinion from a different vet. Something maybe wrong??
