Default Help with jumping

Hi,

I've screwed up very badly and I need help. I was careless in how I fed Slash and Nightmare and now they snatch food ( as in bloody fingers on occasion) and will jump up to get to food and will yank it out of my hands. Not good when they are that big. How do I get this under control again? Like I said, I've screwed this up very badly and need to put it right.

THanks,

Jelpy

I was going to suggest turn your back but since they are snatching food, I think Slash and Nightmare have made this into a game. So for now I would feed them in their crates. I would also put them in their crates when I am eating or I would use a gate. Then I would proceed to slowly work on table manners - the dogs would have to be on downstay while I am eating. It would help to work with one dog at a time, and have the dog on a leash - that way I could sit on the leash and also step on it to enforce the downstay.
