Stosh did his first ever, all by himself go-bye today! Which is basically running in a clockwise circle around some sheep until he's back to the spot where he started. He did so well, we were so excited and very proud of him. This is just the 2nd day that we've tried it and he figured it out and did it without going in on the sheep or anything! It's been such a big transition to go from obedience-- come to me, look at me, get a treat- to work away from me, move on your own, never take your eyes off the sheep but listen to what I say. I'm so happy for him! To think that just 4 mos ago he had a bullet in his face and we didn't know if he'd ever be able to see. He's had a long come back and he's bounced and wagged and smiled the whole way. Like I've always said- gsds take 'dog' to a whole other level.
