So we have 2 chickens and Nero has been interested in them so we let them meet and Nero did this.
I have 0 experience with herding but does it look like he has the herding instinct I have been hearing about on these forums? |

He does seem to show some instinct for "going to the head" of the chickens, but he will need some training to prevent the little episodes of "chase" he also exhibited.

I found our herding trainer from my local obedience club- the trainer used to be a member. You can google 'herding training facilities' and 'obedience training club' things like that. Also look on the AKC website for herding trials and go to one. I have to warn you, it's addictive! You'll need to make sure Nero has a consistent 'down' especially at a distance.

I have to say...those are some calm chickens! Love Nero's tail...it's so fluffy!
