Default Stosh's first training session since the shooting- I'm kind of nervous for him

As many of you know, Stosh was shot in the head by a neighbor in Dec and naturally we had to stop training. We were hoping and praying that he'd be able to keep his eye and have some level of vision, but here he is as close to 100% as he could get. He's been cleared by the vet and opthamologist so we're going for our first herding session in the morning. He was doing so well and absolutely loved it so I'm hoping tomorrow's session goes well. The trainer says we'll take it slow and she'll let Stosh determine how long the session will be but she's thinking 30-45 mins. I'm kind of nervous for him, I know he'll be excited and everything we've learned and practiced will probably be gone with the wind. I'm so proud of how far he's come in just a few months. Wish us luck!!

I'll bet within minutes he'll be right back where he left off! So glad that bullet permanently damage his eye! Let us know how it goes tomorrow.

I really know you're both right! He needs the fun and I need to see his confidence. I know he has it, it's just been hard to turn him loose.

Sending good vibes Stosh's way. I bet he will do just fine. He's an extremely strong boy surviving a gunshot to the head. I just know he is going to settle into his training as if nothing ever happened. Good luck and let us know how it goes tomorrow.
