HIC / HCT CERTIFICATION FOR DOGS 6 M0NTHS & OLDER



Note: The JHD (junior herding dog) will not be available at this event.

A Herding Instinct Test for ALL BREEDS with “first leg” and “second leg” classes for HIC, HCT (as per AHBA rules). All breeds are welcome, however, only those breeds that are listed on AHBA’s herding breed list will be eligible for AHBA certification. Sheep and ducks will be offered as stock for this test.




WHERE: Ewetopia Training Center, 6311 S. 288th Street, Roy, WA 98580

(From I-5 north or south, take exit 127 (Highway 512–Puyallup/Mt Rainier); GO 2 mi. east to second exit (Highway 7-Spanaway/Parkland)-turn right; GO 4.6 mi. south, where the main road angles to left (signal light), take exit to the right (Highway 507-Roy/Centralia); GO 7.4 mi. S.W. to small town of Roy; DRIVE all the way through the town, past the Chevron station, take a left onto S. 288th; GO to where the road seems to fork, stay left; Ewetopia is 1.4 mi. down 288th – GO all the way up the gravel driveway, through the gate at the back; bear left to herding parking area.) WHEN: Saturday, March 21. Meet at 8:00 a.m. for registration --Testing at 9:00 a.m.



FEES: DAY-OF ENTRY Will Be Accepted- PRE-ENTRY Is Encouraged. (Form is available below.)
Herding Instinct (First Leg of HCT) $25 ea,
Herding Capability (HCT) $25 ea;

(For all entries the $2.00 AHBA certification fee is additional)
