Overshot Jaws

I have a 16 week old GSD puppy with an overshot jaw. He seems to be eating fine, and does not show any signs that it is bothering him at all. Is there anyone out there who has a GSD with this over bite problem. Another concern of mine is he is triaining in Schutzhund and I'm wondering if he is going to be able to do the required bite work. Anyone have a Sch dog with an overbite?

Re: Overshot Jaws

A friend of mine has a dog with a badly underbite /overshot jaw - it became evident at about 5 months as well. It did not affect his bitework or dumbbell work at all. The dog did get titled to Schh1 - and could have gone to Sch3, but the economy - gas prices and training over 100 miles away - put an end to working the dog.
