Some of you may remember or been following my story with Ghost and the constant "pudding poop" issues we have had since bringing her home.
ANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD.... WE. ARE. FINALLY. HEALED!!!!!!!!!
:poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:

After 4 months of the chronic bouts of recurring diarrhea every 2-4 days... we are officially 2 complete weeks with SOLID, FIRM, NORMAL POOP!!!! Not even one single loose/soft stool, and diarrhea has vanished altogether!!! I can't believe it!! I have to thank all of you for all the support, PM's, comments, and suggestions I've received while dealing with this. I was near a breaking point at one time and running myself and my vet ragged throwing around ideas about what we had ruled out and what to try next.

Switching her to a LID food along with her new supplements has completely turned everything around for the better. She is now on Nature's Variety Instinct Limited (lamb formula) and the K-9 feedsentials nutritional supplement along with Sunday Sundae digestive aid. Ghost loves the supplements, licking the bowl clean every time. Her coprophagia and PICA has completely disappeared since starting this regime. She had a constant extra wax buildup in her ears and itchiness which has also all but subsided. But the biggest issue for me was her constant diarrhea and getting to the root of the cause so we could heal her digestive tract and normalize her gut stability. I am happy to say that I feel like we have accomplished that so far! Even though it has only been two weeks, I haven't seen anything to even slightly indicate that the diarrhea is returning. I couldn't be happier and I just wanted to share this update with you all. I know it sounds weird, but I feel like I can finally exhale and am smiling whenever I take Ghost out to potty nowadays - instead of worrying about what will come out on the other end LOL!!

Thanks and love to you all for your kind words and encouragement. And thank you @carmspack for an absolutely great product!! As you can see, even Ghost has a smile on her face now!

Yesssssssss so happy to hear this!!!!

I might try my guy on Nature's Variety Instinct.

Your pup is so adorable, she has the same tan/butterscotch coloring on her back and tail as mine does! I love it :)

I know!! I love it! I think they might be long lost cousins! [emoji6] It's on her feet bottoms too [emoji173]

to the tune of "another one bites the dust "

mmm mmm another one joins the list !

told you so. Thanks for the feed-back.
Maybe for the first time the root cause was addressed, not symptom suppression .

I just love the picture of the relaxed pup . There is a glow to her - relaxed .

Now you can feed whatever you like . Even raw !

thank you so much for allowing me to participate .

So just another quick update.... since I wrote this 10 days ago... Well... another 10 days have passed and STILL NO DIARRHEA!!! And still no soft stools!! We had one instance where I prob gave her a little too much peanut butter in her Kong [emoji23] But other than that, a complete healing from what vet can see and I actually know.

I'm literally in tears writing this as sweet Ghost has completely turned the corner on all GI issues and the other minor random issues we were experiencing. I am overjoyed. We are about to hit the one month mark on consistent and normal GI function! For any of you out there suffering with the poop issues, keep at it. It took us months, but we are proof that it DOES and WILL get better!!
Happy girl and happy hubby ❤❤

another dog known to Saphire and myself , in our neck of the woods , had virtually the same problem --- dog had giardia , and other issues -- close to 9 months of age and not ever had one stool that could be picked up - all watery.

same recommendations as for Lala .

one day he phoned , crying - oh oh - I thought something bad had happened .
No ! he was so overjoyed that the dog produced a poop that he could pick up .
He joked saying he was going to have the poop gilded and made into jewellery .
EW .
