@happyblond can we get an update on Clay? Hoping for the best for both of you. I read your thread about the attack and was wondering if you had a chance to re-visit that location and see if you could get any more info about the attacker.

We have not heard from the owner in four days. He was very sick. I'm afraid it is a lost cause.

Here you go unseen puncture wound, I hope he's doing better today???

"so Friday morning the vet checks him all over notes his trachea is very swollen then she takes his temperature and is quite concerned as it's 40.6 celsius the vet says caused by an infection most likely caused by an unseen puncture wound from the dog who attacked him so she gives him an injection of metacam (meloxicam ) and synulox to last 24 hours and we were to bring him back first thing and in the meantime at home we should cover him with damp towels and try some other thing to help with his temp..."

If a dog attacked by young GSD I would fight it to the death with my bare hands.

It's the "other" thread I do belive?? They did engage and they got injured in the process. There GSD is long coated and they did not realized he'd been injured until symptoms started showing up.
