Newlie's Surgery For Tumor Today

Newlie's surgery to remove the tumor on his leg is today and I am on pins and needles, I wish they would call.

The wait is agonizing. Wishing him a successful surgery & quick recovery. And hugs to you.

I can imagine how you feel the wait is awful. Wishing Newlie a quick recovery and hope he has a restful night and not in to much discomfort.

I did talk to the surgeon who said the procedure went fine. He said the tumor looked benign to him, but he is sending it away for testing and we will know in a couple of days. He said Newlie was a "little cantankerous" when he first woke up, but that he had just come from sitting with him a minute and he seemed to be settling down. The surgeon said that I could take him home tonight, if I wanted, but his preference would be for him to stay, "I'd rather him be a butthead with us than you," lol. I did elect to wait till tomorrow, not because of the butthead thing, but because my friend who will help me get him in and out of the car and into the house works till 8:30 tonight, so it would be easier on him. I am so relieved this is over!
