I called the vet this morning who our little 9 month old pup had been taken to by his first owner. Turns out the poor little guy had a seizure in November and was taken in. They did blood work and his liver enzymes were elevated and they thought he should have more testing done to determine if this disorder was the problem. They never tested him, they just gave him to the lady I got him from without telling her. :frown2:
I am taking him in today to get the tests done. Turns out the lump by his collar was from a shot of oxytetracycline the 2nd owner gave him, so that is not a worry. She is so sorry for all of this and is not expecting me to give her any money for poor little Major, since I am having to deal with all of this. Im glad I have him though, she said I should just put him down. But i feel like someone has to give this little guy a chance.
He and my 4 year old GS are doing much better today. I am keeping them apart and everyone is calmed down 100%:smile2:
Does anyone have any success in dealing with this?
