He is one year old male and this issue started a few days ago. He started to sneeze occasionally and very slight snorting...he is kind of trying to clear his nose which he never did before...he never paws his nose...he loved to sniff everything and stick his head out from the car window to sniff the air....now he stopped sniffing. for some reason he doesn't want to sniff...during our walks he avoids sniffing and in the car he keeps his head inside, no more sniffing air....we took him to the vet and vet did a physical and she said it is too soon to diagnose, plus since he is a puppy and she didn't know the cause she didn't want to give antibiotics.
He didn't lose his appetite and he is still active when I take him out... he is kind of sick looking and lazy in the house though...he doesn't have diarrhea....he vomit one time yellow thing in the morning but i guess it was caused by the benadryl that we gave him....
I couldn't figure out what is causing his discomfort in his nose....I have two options;
either he has a foreign body in his nose, smth very little that he sucked in or he caught some kind of virus like a cold/flu type of thing...I searched online and some say dogs can catch cold and some sources say they won't.....this is NOT a Kennel Cough, vet and I know he is not coughing....it is more kind of smth irritating his upper respiratory track....
this started on Sunday and I will give it a week or so then take him back to vet...
please let me know if you experienced anything like this....
